Sigrinn – in my line of sight

I’ve spent some couple of days at Drömfabriken. Each year the Swedish Film Institute organizes three inspirational days for young film-makers.
This year I was there to talk a little about the music video-project I’ve been working with. Of course I took the chanse to sit in on some of the lectures too.

Some swedish actors have a nice, relaxed and funny conversation about their work.

An interesting 45 minutes was the trailer and the conversations with Terese Mörnvik and Ewa Einhorn about their work in progress documentary Milkbar.

staying in the moment,
being in a rush,
travelling fast, far away,
time’s like a channel like a stream,
strong,
no way to go upstream
- cling on to that log of yours,
or else you’ll drown, ‘cause everything goes so fast now, and you try to help your friends, who’s lost their grip
- and sometimes you succeed
sometimes not.

Because time moves too fast now, the stream has grown too strong, and there’s no one to build a pond. And no one even have the time to raise crosses for those who died. They are anonymous. And you have to forget them. Concentrate on yourself; otherwise you’ll miss your spot, your chance, your life.
You’ll be rushing forth, even when stopped breathing, like movements in outer space. It’s a harsh world, harsh society, you live in.

step out, up on the riverbank you’ll see how ridiculous it seems, all these tiny figures fighting for survival in the water. If it wasn’t for the chill, it would look like hell. All those lost souls.
Be glad you’re out of it
start making your own rules
own pace.
There’s nothing wrong with trotting, especially not barefoot on a beach, feeling the surroundings, breathing the air – fill your belly.
Look around. Help survivors.

I was supposed to write much more here, and to take more photos. But this latest week just hasn’t been a good week for either writing or photographing.
It’s been too much work and too much sickness.
Yes, I know. I was sick again… I need to stop doing that. But this time it wasn’t my fault at all.

Jag vet inte om jag borde försöka ändra mina egna inställningar. Men jag klarar bara inte av sÃ¥dana människor. FÃ¥r inget som helst intresse av att lära känna dem. Fast mitt inre skriker efter att lära känna nya människor sÃ¥ gÃ¥r jag hellre hem och läser en bok, skriver en dikt, klipper en film, gör ett smycke eller spelar ett spel än jag sitter kvar och pratar…

Är alla människor så i början, eller har jag bara otur?

Today’s been one of those days when everything’s seemed to work against me.
Even the weather.
I hope I’ll fall asleep early and wake up tomorrow with the sun shining on my face and some new energy to deal with everything.
To deal with work, studies, laundry, cleaning… life… yep, that’s it… life…

What am I today?

Tired (as always), pretty happy (for once) and bored (am I?).

I’ve been without Internet for a couple of days, nothing planned, but my, it was really nice…

Won’t be so nice now though… To keep up with what I’ve missed…
