Sigrinn – in my line of sight

We want peace, but if you do something we don’t like, we won’t hesitate to kill you.

Does that sounds like a peace treaty? Or more like a threat? Or blackmailing?

And then there is: “We suspect that you might do something we don’t like, so now we’ll kill you. Or at least harm you hard enough so you do not feel like to harm us back…”

What kind of manner is this? What kind of reason?

Fortunately enough not everyone’s reasoning like this, if so the humankind (and probably the planet too) would’ve been extinct long ago, don’t you think?

… BLANKVERS! Blankvers är ett jambiskt versmått, orimmat och femtaktigt (tänk Shakespeare).

Jag har skrivit en dikt med detta versmått (var ju tvungen att prova):

when ripping pieces; yellow, red and green
the leaf transforms to shreds of life it seems
and memories so often shared in pain
eludes themselves into the autumn wind
so, rustling strides awaken time in gleams;
with a cut a sword went through the air -
a deed one seldom can arrange to hide
- withdrew from earth the faith in peace, and left
a girl, on knees, who’s raising fire, burning leaves

(Som brukligt är smög jag även in några saker som bryter mot rytmen, jag tror det blev lagom mycket.)
